Dr. George Abang Tawoh
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. George Abang Tawoh is the president and chief executive officer of the Association for the Protection of Women’s and Children’s Rights (APWCR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing human rights, humanitarian relief, and sustainable development across targeted African countries and the United States of America. He has an outstanding experience in human rights, development issues, and conflict management skills. He acquired this knowledge from diverse national and international training programs, which he has used to impact many women, children, men, and communities in Cameroon, Africa, over the past two decades, serving with APWCR and other organizations. He is an alumni of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Programme for African Leadership (PFAL) 2012. Dr. Tawoh holds a PhD and a Master of Science degree in Project Management from Atlantic International University, USA, and the University of Salford—Manchester, United Kingdom.
Charley Zhao
Developer
Charley Zhao served as the Project Manager for the APWCR website redesign project. He is a junior majoring in Information Systems and minoring in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He will be interning at Deloitte Consulting in Summer 2020 as a technology consultant. After graduation, he seeks to pursue a career as a software engineer or technology consultant.
Eileen Chen
Developer
Eileen Chen served as the Client Transition and Quality Assurance Manager for the APWCR website redesign project. She is a junior majoring in Information Systems with a minor in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. She will be interning at Capital One in Summer 2020 as a software engineer. She is looking toward a career that intersects UX design and software engineering.
Mr. Nchengeh Michael Eyong
Technical Director
Nchengeh Michael Eyong is a Civil Engineer by profession and technical adviser of APWCR since 2012. Eyong worked as a consultant with Herackles farms and he is also Chief Executive Officer of MENSCAM Enterprise Limbe – Cameroon. Nchengeh holds a master degree in civil engineering from Saint Monica University Buea and MBA from National Institute of Business Administration Trivandrum India.
Benjamin W. Musunza
APWCR Kenya Country Representative
Benjamin W. Musunza is a graduate of Kenya Methodist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Founder and Patron of Neighbourhood Development Initiative, C.E.O at Innovation in Community Development Initiative. Benjamin is an innovative and visionary leader with a proven track record, impacting lives through local and international relationships and partnerships representing several international organizations in Kenya.
Annie Spahn
Developer
Annie Spahn served as the Client Relationship and Quality Assurance Manager for the APWCR website redesign project. She is a junior majoring in Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University. She will be interning at Lockheed Martin in Summer 2020 as a systems engineer. After graduation, she is looking to go into software engineering, systems engineering or artificial intelligence.
