Dr. George Abang Tawoh is the president and chief executive officer of the Association for the Protection of Women’s and Children’s Rights (APWCR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing human rights, humanitarian relief, and sustainable development across targeted African countries and the United States of America. He has an outstanding experience in human rights, development issues, and conflict management skills. He acquired this knowledge from diverse national and international training programs, which he has used to impact many women, children, men, and communities in Cameroon, Africa, over the past two decades, serving with APWCR and other organizations. Dr. Tawoh is an alumni of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Programme for African Leadership (PFAL) 2012. Dr. Tawoh holds a PhD and a Master of Science degree in Project Management from Atlantic International University, USA, and the University of Salford—Manchester, United Kingdom.
